Publish to GitHub, UI Scaling and smarter simulations

The Version control panel can now put a project on GitHub in one flow: sign in (or paste a personal access token), pick the owner and a name, choose private or public, and press Publish repository. The new repository becomes the project's remote, so pushing and pulling work from the panel immediately.

The panel itself was reworked along the way. A status button at the top always shows the next sensible action — push, pull, sync, or publish — and the Commit button gained Commit & Push, Commit & Sync and Commit (Amend) variants, plus stashes.

The Version control guide has been rewritten to match.

UI Scaling: design at one resolution, run at any

The Group node has a new UI Scaling section. Set a Design Width and Design Height — say 1920×1080 — and a Scale Mode, and the group scales its whole content as one unit, like a game canvas. Positions, offsets and font sizes keep their proportions on every screen, so pixel-positioned layouts stop drifting when the window changes.

Modes: Fit (fills the screen, grows the canvas), Fill (covers, crops edges), Letterbox (exact aspect ratio, bars where the screen differs), Match width / Match height. The editor warns when a scaled group is nested inside another one (the scaling compounds) or when design sizes are set while the mode is off (they do nothing).

See UI Scaling on the Group node and the responsive design guide.

Simulate starts from your real inputs

Simulating a deployed maths component used to feed every input random noise. Now every port defaults to the value the component was deployed with, and you switch on randomness only for the ports you mean to sweep. For components with many UI-event inputs this is the difference between measuring the maths and driving it into states no player reaches.

Two more changes make the numbers honest:

  • Free-spin features are measured properly. A stake that triggers free rounds counts as one round; its free rounds are played out and their wins folded into it. New bonus statistics appear when a component has a feature: bonus frequency, free rounds played, bonus RTP and average bonus win. A bonus that never ends is cut off at 500 free rounds — and reported, since that is a defect in the component.
  • Bet and win mappings are optional. With no bet port, rounds run on a flat stake; with no win port, the payout is what the script itself returns — exactly what the platform pays in production.

The testing and simulation guide covers the details.

Smaller improvements

  • The Properties panel is resizable. Drag its left edge; double-click to reset. The width is remembered.
  • Publish errors name the real cause. A missing RGS connection now says so, instead of "Project compilation error" or a null-reference error when deleting a deployment.
  • Enum ports document their values. The AI assistant's node reference now includes the legal values of enum ports, so it stops guessing at options like a reel's fit mode.
